March
National Women's History Month
National Women's History Month is celebrated every March in the United States to honor and recognize the contributions of women throughout history. It began as a week-long celebration in 1981, eventually expanding into a month in 1987. The month highlights the achievements of women in various fields such as science, politics, art, business, and social activism. Each year, a theme is chosen to focus on specific aspects of women's history. The observance is a way to educate people about the vital roles women have played in shaping society and to promote gender equality.
